Tropes:
1 No plot? No problem!
2 Camera centering
3 Newton's Laws
We might also add You Require More Vespene Gas
Imagine Thrust with modern looking, precise and colored sprites, that is infinite, with different randomly generated obstacles and spinning flying spaceships and one-shot drones (enemies that you will see), with realistic physics and a score system!
Now this is my (TheGeniusDev's) second game (the first was a Pong clone) and my friend has never made a game before, so don't expect it to be AAA quality and done on time or done at all (we have exams for our Middle School in Serbia)!
After the competition everyone is free to add their own contribution whether it is art or programming help. We will probably publish the source code and the art along with the final competition version of the project so that anyone can work on it. We are also open if you have any ideas about the project which we can use to improve the game with!
Now a quick question: Do you think it should be near a planet so it should have gravity, or in space and don't have gravity?
Also: What do you think? What should the obstacles be? Walls? Big spaceships? Glass? Asteroids? Let us know with a reply!
We were also thinking that we should add missile pickups (The original gun will not be included!). so that you get one, and can fire one (that you already have), and you can't pick up more than one. The missile would either have a huge blast and be extremely rare, or it should be MORE (not very) common and destroy only one obstacle.
We thought about using Unity for the game engine because of the physics options and the lack of time, however my teammate wants to go with XNA so we will be doing XNA!
So,
The Tools: XNA (coding) and Photoshop or Paint.NET or Inkscape (art)
If you feel like you need more description about the project, please, tell us, or wait and see!

P.S. What do you think about our team's name?
