Hello World!!!
While the game development competition helped me alot in my programming expertise, I feel the need to finish a few books before the release of my first real game.. So, I have Approximately One year to finish 3 books.. (each of which will be revealed once I actually start them, but feel free to suggest my next book)

For my first goal, I will be attempting to finish reading chapter 4 of XNA 4.0 Game Development by Example.
The end of chapter 4 is Page 139, I started on page 22.. (Chapter 2) and am currently on page 37….. Which means I have to do approximately 4 pages Per day.. (3.7777… to be exact) to finish ON the 16th of April.

This isnt going to be a easy challenge for me as It will be hard to get 4 pages of coding in per day.

I will be updating this probably once per week or more with my progress..

For the time being, I'm in the same situation Swat. I'm currently reading RB's book, which is my major goal for the next little bit. Towards the end of March, I want to get that completed and I'll be moving onto a 3 month period in which I will be designing, creating, and coding my first game for retail sales. I'm planning on going with a release on XBOX live for all the XBOX players or… perhaps trying the Kickstarter angle I keep talking about. Still a little up in the air as to which it's going to be, but I'll keep you all updated!

Here is my first update…

Since the project started ive been really busy doing other work.. I haven't been able to do any programming for the last four days.. as I Flew back to Michigan and have been working from 8am till 10pm-12am every day.. and then I get home later.. Check some prices on a market on another game for about 20 minutes.. and then go straight to bed.. (getting to bed at 1-3am every night.)

Today our project is mostly finished.. Im sick with fever and congestion, and I wont be needed outside helping much (hopefully), So I hope to get some programming in today..
I am currently on page 37 (like before) and need to get to page 139, Which is approximately 5 pages Per day (4.6).

Ill keep you all updated.

to be honest.. I didnt have enough time… if any.. to get it done.. So ill be deleting this thread/editing it and making a new one with pretty much the same goal….
