XNA 4.0 distribution

The installer exe created won't run on other computers.

Ok so i have been working on a project for a while now on and off,

i started it in xna 3.1 and then moved it to xna 4.0,

before i put the final touches to it i decided to test the one click, it creates the package as described in your tutorial, great!,

i can install the game and play on my computer,

i had a few friends test it out, all the ones with xna 4.0 installed worked fine however all the people without xna got through the install but when they try to start the game nothing happens.

Any ideas?

Did you package it as a .ccgame? Or ClickOnce? The .ccgame doesn't include the dependencies. It only includes your files, and makes the assumption that anybody you give it to will have XNA installed. If you used ClickOnce, it should be smart enough to figure out the dependencies and include them (or download them during the installation process).

What version of Visual Studio are you using? 2010? 2013? Express or Pro?

ClickOnce and i have all the dependencies, the other thing i never took into consideration is human error ie the people don't allow the components to download and install but its every single one without xna that has the problems.
