Goals for the First Weekend?

Anybody have any particular goals that they're working towards during the first weekend?

We intentionally picked dates that would give us the maximum number of weekends. I'm curious to know what you guys are doing to get the most out of it. Anything especially cool?

I'll be finalizing the logistics on what I have planned so far. Things are progressing pretty good as far as the idea goes so my main goal will be to work out specifics on paper and possibly some work on the leveling system (if it's going to remain).

I'll also be setting up the base project with the framework code I've been using, downloading graphics resources, and probably downloading some music and sound effects to begin playing around with.

No, I don't have any sort of plan laid out. I just kinda program what I feel like is the next thing to program.
Two things that I would like to get done over the first weekend, though, are 1) getting some artwork done that I'm moderately happy with, and 2) getting basic character (ship) movement and/or firing.
It depends on what I feel like over the weekend, so I could not quite finish just this stuff, or I could do a lot more; who knows!
