Everyone, I was thinking we should lay out what frameworks and standards we want to use. Below are my thoughts.
XNA or MonoGame? I would be happy to learn MonoGame, but since we doing our first 3D project, I would prefer to keep working with XNA for now.
Version Control and Online Repository
I have been really happy with Mercurial and Bitbucket.
I was thinking of working with Blender since it is the best free 3D modelling software available (and I have experience using it outside of making models for games). Do we need to chose to work with one file type (.X or .FBX) or does it not matter?
