I'm posting this here, knowing this is the most active part of the forum during these competitions.
I keep getting lots of questions in the chat room about UI stuff this competition. I've had the best of intentions of making a set of UI tutorials someday, but that takes time.
I'm seriously contemplating doing a 90 minute UI crash course for XNA and MonoGame on Twitch on Saturday, probably towards the evening. (I'm thinking about 5:30 PM my time (MDT).)
I can't imagine I'll get way too far into it. It's only 90 minutes. But it would probably be enough to do buttons, maybe some menus, a few other types of controls (progress bar? slider? check box?) and maybe a bit of layout type stuff.
The question is whether or not there'd be any takers. Anybody interested in something like that? I know it's only like 48 hours notice at this point.
If so, perhaps you can leave some comments about what specifically you might want to see in a 90 minute event, knowing I can't cover every single thing and won't have time to get into some of the more advanced topics.
Also, if a particular time works better for you than others, speak up, and we'll see if we can adjust.
