like dammit!
all im trying to do it page 63 - even odd.
and i cant get it. dammit!
so frusterated

Console.WriteLine("Enter any number, we will display ever or odd: ");
string userinput = Console.ReadLine();
int remainder = Convert.ToInt32(userinput);
int aremainder;

int aremainder1 = (remainder % aremainder);
if (aremainder == 1)
{
Console.WriteLine("odd");
}
else
{

Console.WriteLine("even");
}

Console.WriteLine(aremainder);
Console.ReadKey();

got it to work somehow….
kinda confused, but somehow got it…

The % operator returns the rest after division. What you are doing with (remainder % 2) is that you take the value, divide it by 2 and assign the rest to aremainder. If it is an even number the rest will be 0 and if it is an odd number the rest is going to be 1 since it is not an even division.
