That's sad! You've been a staple in all of these competitions and collabs!

Even if you end up with a free 30 minutes or an hour, we'd still love to have you drop in!

We'll miss you, but we'll see you next time around!

Since I don't see an official sign-up thread yet, I'm just gonna say here that I will not be joining you guys. I had a lot of fun with the first collaboration, and I'd like to join the nearly-guaranteed-to-happen third one, but I'm pretty busy right now. Anyways, good luck to you all, and I look forward to seeing the result!

Alright. I think I'm going to call it. It sounds like the 24th will work for most people, and is preferred by every voter except Swatacular. Since the 24th also works for him though, I think it seems fairest to just go with the 24th. (Don't worry, Swat, if the 24th simply didn't work for you, we would have done a different date. We're small enough that we can make accommodations for individuals here.)

I think I'll go ahead and post an official sign up thread as well as another one for us to start thinking about what game we could work on.

Even though I'm picking an official date, if you really want to join but the 24th really doesn't work, say something soon. We might still be able to change the date.

I'm going to vote for the 24th as well. Still a little ways out so time to gather participants and look over last minute tutorials!

I'm good with those dates as well, but I think the 24th sounds the best so that we have about two weeks to get people signed up and freeing their schedule. It also gives more time to pick the project that will be done and what tools we would be using. So if we end up choosing say a version control like Mercurial that someone hasn't used before, they can get up to speed before the collab starts.

On that note, how did you guys previously settle what to develop with? I'm assuming since this website focuses on C#, XNA/Monogame, and Mercurial, that those are the standard tools of the collab but I could be wrong.

OK, guys, it's time to get serious about Collab #2, and we need to start doing that by picking a date.

Sounds like a Saturday is really the best day for this, but I think this Saturday is cutting it too close. So our options are the 17th, the 24th, and the 31st. I'm OK with any of these.

Cast your vote, or I'll just pick the 24th arbitrarily.

If you didn't join us last time, I'm going to go post another thread in this category describing what we did last time around so you get a better idea of how these collabs work. But we can also change things around and do it differently. We'll likely have different people (hopefully more) and different skillsets, and we can definitely adapt to make things work for our specific situation.
